Liturgy

Each school in the McDonell System offers students time(s) to celebrate Mass each week. There are also opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent and by request anytime during the school year.

St. Charles Borromeo Primary School begins with “Merry Monday.” Holy Ghost Elementary students participate in “Terrific Tuesday.” During this time, our school communities gather for a time of prayer, acknowledging birthdays, and sharing special announcements. St. Charles and Holy Ghost also recognize “STARS”-- students who are kind, caring, and generous and follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

McDonell Central Catholic High School and Notre Dame Middle School students start the week with a time of prayer and reflection on our relationship with Christ. Different organizations and groups of students assist with this time of prayer which provides an opportunity for students and staff to focus on a particular theme or Scripture to direct their attention toward Christ and prepare for the week to come.

Mass schedule is subject to change with special Holy days. All are welcome to attend. Please stop in the school office for a visitors pass.
