Program Overview

In the Catholic Liberal Arts tradition, we recognize the early years as a sacred season of growth, wonder, and joyful discovery. At MACS, our full-day preschool program is thoughtfully rooted in this tradition and enriched by the Charlotte Mason philosophy.

In keeping with what is developmentally appropriate for young children, our program intentionally balances meaningful play with structured academic instruction. Throughout the day, students engage in living ideas, hands-on exploration, and guided learning experiences, while also having ample opportunities for imaginative, child-directed play in a safe and well-intentioned environment.

This integrated approach allows us to nurture attentiveness, curiosity, virtue, and a deep love for learning during these foundational years.

LITTLE MACKS 4K PROGRAM

• All Day 4K Program: Monday - Friday (Friday will be enrichment day)
• Kindergarten readiness (must be 4 by September 1st)
• Whole-child curriculum includes:
      ▪ Strong early literacy and rich literature
      ▪ Handicrafts and enrichment activities
      ▪ Outdoor exploration and nature study
• Catholic faith-based curriculum includes:
      ▪ Spiritual life and prayer
      ▪ Forming virtuous habits
      ▪ Weekly faith instruction through Montessori-based
      Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
