Parents

Parents are an integral part of the McDonell Area Catholic School (MACS) community. As the most important educators in children's lives, parents lay the Christian foundation for the educational partnership we incorporate into our curriculum. The partnership between MACS and our families is vital for student success and we are grateful for the valuable role parents play in our community. The MACS parent organizations are a wonderful avenue for parents to get involved by volunteering, serving, and getting to know other families.

Communication
If your contact information has changed, please notify the central office by contacting Administrative Assistant Kathy Adams at 715.723.0538 x3301. This would include address, phone, and email for child's records. You can also change your information in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus.

Infinite Campus App Download at iTunes or through Google Play. The school district ID for this download is GBKXLN

Infinite Campus is a portal for both parents and student. A login is handed out when a student is first enrolled. Check the portal regularly to keep students on track with assignments, announcements, lunch balances and more. Most of the parent information from the school is sent electronically. MACS news is sent at least once a week and includes upcoming events and a monthly newsletter. If you are not receiving the news or other MACS related emails, please send your name, student's name, and grade to Cathy Greenseth, Director of Communications (Email).

     SignUp - VolunteerSpot

SignUp (formally known as VolunteerSpot) is a scheduling service our school system and parent organizations utilize to organize volunteers for an event. Volunteers login with their email and then choose the date, event and duty they would like to perform. Notifications about the event and reminders will be sent through email.

    A postal mailing with information about free and reduced lunch will be going to all households from the central office week of August 7. A mailing will also go to all the elementary families week of August 14.

    McDonell Central - Regis boys soccer co-op is pleased to announce Mr. Aleem Abdul as the new soccer coach for the 2017 fall season. Aleem brings a diverse background in soccer to the program.  

    Pictured Archie Sherbinow, MACS Athletic Director stated, “Coach Aleem will bring a great deal of passion and energy to our program. I am excited for him to begin working with the students. If they buy into the amount of excitement he has they could have a very successful season.”

    The fall soccer season begins Monday, August 14.

    McDonell Area Catholic Schools is a nationally accredited school system through AdvancED. Involved in the Chippewa Falls community for over 135 years, the system offers a faith-based education, grounded in award winning academics, athletics, and the building of servant leaders for today and the future.

    We are excited to announce Kayla Bahnub, Elementary Principal for Holy Ghost and St. Charles Borromeo Schools. Mrs. Bahnub comes to us from Regis Catholic Schools where she was the Dean of Students and teacher.

    “My experience in Catholic education has truly been a blessing in my life and I am excited to continue working with students in a Catholic environment, said Mrs. Bahnub. “I will emphasize a balance of spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth.” Mrs. Bahnub went on to say, “I am looking forward to a new school year and am excited to meet the families.”

    Mrs. Bahnub received her education from UW-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in Education Leadership from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota. Welcome Mrs. Bahnub!
