Parents are an integral part of the McDonell Area Catholic School (MACS) community. As the most important educators in children's lives, parents lay the Christian foundation for the educational partnership we incorporate into our curriculum. The partnership between MACS and our families is vital for student success and we are grateful for the valuable role parents play in our community. The MACS parent organizations are a wonderful avenue for parents to get involved by volunteering, serving, and getting to know other families.
If your contact information has changed, please notify the central office by contacting Administrative Assistant Kathy Adams at 715.723.0538 x3301. This would include address, phone, and email for child's records. You can also change your information in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus.
Infinite Campus is a portal for both parents and student. A login is handed out when a student is first enrolled. Check the portal regularly to keep students on track with assignments, announcements, lunch balances and more. Most of the parent information from the school is sent electronically. MACS news is sent at least once a week and includes upcoming events and a monthly newsletter. If you are not receiving the news or other MACS related emails, please send your name, student's name, and grade to Cathy Greenseth, Director of Communications (Email).

SignUp (formally known as VolunteerSpot) is a scheduling service our school system and parent organizations utilize to organize volunteers for an event. Volunteers login with their email and then choose the date, event and duty they would like to perform. Notifications about the event and reminders will be sent through email.

Hannah Sykora signing with Silver Lake College of the Holy Family
McDonell Central Catholic High School Senior Hannah Sykora signed on Thursday, May 23 her letter of intent to play basketball with Silver Lake College of the Holy Family in Manitowoc, WI. She will be majoring in history.
Activities Director Eric Gardow said, “Hannah has always loved the game of basketball and it is good to see her play in college and reach her personal goals.
The McDonell Area Catholic Schools vision for a student upon graduation is to be prepared for post-secondary education and career. They would also be grounded in relationship with Jesus Christ, balanced physically and emotionally, and actively engages as servant leaders in family, parish and civic communities.
Mr. Gardow went on to say, “What Hannah has done here with her time at MACS is become a whole student, not just an athlete. She has all the qualities to be successful at whatever she wants to do in life.”
McDonell Macks Girls’ Basketball Coach Don Cooper said, “We were blessed as a program to have Hannah Sykora play for us. She helped shape the future of McDonell Basketball for many years to come. In her senior year she almost accomplished an undauntable task of breaking the school record in assists of 92. While she fell short with 84 to her it was more about the team than accomplishing individual goals of her own. I know for a fact that Hannah is going to succeed in any endeavor because she has that inner drive of motivation to excel. We as a program wish nothing but the best for Hannah at the next level. Good Luck!”
Present along with Mr. Gardow and Coach Cooper was Coach Michael Quistorf of Silver Lake, her parents and peers.
