Parents

Parents are an integral part of the McDonell Area Catholic School (MACS) community. As the most important educators in children's lives, parents lay the Christian foundation for the educational partnership we incorporate into our curriculum. The partnership between MACS and our families is vital for student success and we are grateful for the valuable role parents play in our community. The MACS parent organizations are a wonderful avenue for parents to get involved by volunteering, serving, and getting to know other families.

Communication
If your contact information has changed, please notify the central office by contacting Administrative Assistant Kathy Adams at 715.723.0538 x3301. This would include address, phone, and email for child's records. You can also change your information in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus.

Infinite Campus Parent and Student Portal

Infinite Campus App Download at iTunes or through Google Play. The school district ID for this download is GBKXLN

Infinite Campus is a portal for both parents and student. A login is handed out when a student is first enrolled. Check the portal regularly to keep students on track with assignments, announcements, lunch balances and more. Most of the parent information from the school is sent electronically. MACS news is sent at least once a week and includes upcoming events and a monthly newsletter. If you are not receiving the news or other MACS related emails, please send your name, student's name, and grade to Cathy Greenseth, Director of Communications (Email).

     SignUp - VolunteerSpot

SignUp (formally known as VolunteerSpot) is a scheduling service our school system and parent organizations utilize to organize volunteers for an event. Volunteers login with their email and then choose the date, event and duty they would like to perform. Notifications about the event and reminders will be sent through email.

Would you like to be a very important part of McDonell? MACS is looking to add a few good members to our dedicated team of volunteer bus drivers.

Our volunteer drivers saved MACS nearly $12,000 in travel costs last year. We hope to continue a 30+ year tradition of safely and successfully transporting our athletes and students to and from their athletic events and field trips during the day. In the past, MACS has been able to cover 100% of these trips. However, due to the recent retirements of a couple of dedicated long-term drivers, we will no longer be able to do this and will have to hire outside transportation to cover the trips we cannot cover with volunteer drivers.

Drivers must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). If you are interested in this opportunity but do not currently hold a CDL, the MABC will cover all expenses incurred in obtaining your CDL. There are no minimum number of trips required of any driver; you choose the trips that work with your schedule. Any and all trips covered by our volunteer drivers are greatly appreciated.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in this opportunity or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer any questions you may have.

    Sincerely,

    Teresa Dachel, MACS Central Office
