Champions Division
Open to McDonell alumni class teams only
Teams made up of alumni from a single class year (or two successive class years, approved by the tournament committee)
Players must play for the class year they graduated
Top tier competition, aggressive pace & play
5 on 5 full court, WIAA rules (mostly), 20 minute half with a running clock that stops only on a whistle in the last 2 minutes of the game. 2 time-out per team per half
Competitive Division
Open to McDonell class teams 10 years past graduation & dads of future grad teams
Class teams may be single class or combined of successive class years
Dad teams may be dads/stepdads of a single future graduating class (or 2 years combined with committee approval)
Players must play for the class year they graduated & dads for their child's future graduating class
Players may only play for one team in this division
Husbands of alumni are eligible to play for the class team their wife graduated
Competitive competition, moderate pace & play
5 on 5 full court, WIAA rules (mostly), 20 minute half with a running clock that stops only on a whistle in the last 2 minutes of the game. 2 time-out per team per half
Recreational Division (co-ed)
Open to McDonell class teams 15 years past graduation and parents of future grad teams.
Class teams may be single class or combined of multiple class years.
Parent teams may be mom & dads / stepmom & stepdads of a single future graduating class (or 2 years combined with committee approval)
Players must play for the class year they graduated & parent for their child's future graduating class
Players may only play for one team in this division
Spouses of alumni are eligible to play for the class team their spouse graduated
Friendly competition, relaxed pace & play
4 on 4 half court, WIAA rules (mostly), 15 minute half with a running clock that does not stop (excluding time-outs) 2 time-out per team per half
