Gretchen Jorgensen

Classes: High School Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and Honors Courses (Dual Credit and AP)

Mrs. Gretchen ‘Greta’ Jorgensen holds a Master's and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science. She also holds a Bachelor's in Music and Education. 

Although she has been teaching for 25 years, before that she was previously a government research scientist. 

Born in Kansas and raised and lived in Colorado for most of her life, she moved to Wisconsin in 2017 with her husband and two sons. She has two grandchildren, two cats, chickens and a grand-dog. 

She enjoys collecting rocks and sand from around the world and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. She makes jewelry, loves to read and can fix or make anything. 

Mrs. Jorgensen loves teaching at MACS because of her amazing peers and the MACS families.
