Shine Blue for the Badge

A student-driven Law Enforcement Appreciation Project
BLUE light bulbs - $6
Approximately 2000 bulbs sold. Help us sell our inventory of 1,000 left to keep
the blue shining all year round in support of the men, women and K-9 keeping us safe!

MACS Student Ambassadors and Chi Hi APOLLO students (service learning club) are collaborating on a project to show gratitude and support to our local law enforcement agencies.

They will be selling BLUE LED light bulbs at various locations around Chippewa Falls for $6 each. This will give our community a chance to visibly show our local law enforcement our appreciation.

Light bulbs can be purchased at the following locations:

McDonell High School

Chippewa Falls Police Department

Jacobson Hardware (downtown Chippewa Falls & Lake Wissota stores)

Chippewa Valley Lock & Key

Proceeds from the sale will go to the Jason Zunker Memorial Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Chippewa County.

Light bulbs can also be purchased at the following special events:

MACS Spaghetti Spectacular – Sunday, Nov. 12.

McDonell Craft Sale – Saturday, Nov. 18.

Prayer for Police Officers
O Almighty God,
whose great power and eternal wisdom embraces the universe,
watch over all policemen and law enforcement officers everywhere.
Protect them from harm in the performance of their duty
to stop crime, robbery, riots and violence.

We pray, help them keep our streets and homes safe, day and night.
We commend them to your loving care because their duty is dangerous.
Grant them strength and courage in their daily assignments.
Dear God, protect these brave men and women.
Grant them your almighty protection,
unite them safely with their families after duty has ended.
Please God, grant us this wish.
